Been feeling kind of shitty the past few days. I’m hoping this isn’t another go ‘round with anxiety. I’ve been craving validation and reassurance that I’m not a lazy, completely talentless waste of meat, but I dare not ask for it, because that would make me feel like a desperate attention whore. And if someone did send a compliment my way, my brain would refuse to accept it, as it’s probably just pity or sarcasm.
Anyway, I know the vast majority of y’all are here for ponies, not depression talk, so I guess I should get back to that. Happy…National Oreo Day?

I’m graduating college soon, so all my friends are suddenly moving out of my day to day life. I’m still in school here for another 4 years because veterinary medicine, and I’ll be moving in to a single bedroom apartment, so I’m suddenly very lonely. Needed to get my feels out in a productive way so I turned it into this.
Obviously I invested a lot of time and emotion into this one, been more or less completely terrified about what the future is going to hold for me, and very soon. Childhood home is gone, childhood friends are on their way out the door, it’s just going to be me vs the world really soon and I don’t feel ready. I’ll be keeping in touch with these people of course but it’s not the same. I imagine a lot of you can relate.
At least this was a fun project. Took me way longer than I thought it would, but it made me feel a lot better. Hopefully if you feel my feels then it can make you feel a little better too.
There’s a lot more I could say about this whole thing, but I hope y’all enjoyed another “bobdude projects himself onto sweetie belle” episode, more to come.
We’ve all been there, dude. If it helps, don’t think of it as losing friends or relationships, but rather an opportunity to gain new ones. Here’s hoping for an exciting future for you.
Figured I should make an official announcement. I don’t take them very often, usually only if it’s an emergency. I’d rather not feel forced to do something for money that I want to do for fun, kinda sucks the enjoyment out of it, y’know?
That being said, I am a little on the broke side at the moment, and I’d like to have a little emergency money, and maybe even get Them’s Fightin’ Herds. So I’ll only be taking 3 commissions at a time, as to not overwhelm myself. I still want to be able to draw other things whenever I feel like it.
