i always feel bad using references though, i feel like I'm copying and cheating but I can't draw without them cause i cant visualise how the human body moves cause I'm not very good, plus one of my friends drew a dragon without a reference so it just makes me feel like I'm a bad artist

Do you know how many dragons they drew before that? Probably not!

Maybe they drew a million of dragons before you saw them drawing that particular dragon

You use references of something til you can draw it from your memory, not the other way around

This video is pretty good at explaining how to use references
