In all seriousness though, for those of y’all that actually read my tags, I tend to apply “best pony” to Applejack, and “best bitch” to Starlight. Nothing derogatory about it, it’s just my term of affection for her. A callback to her less than stellar behavior as a former villain, and the tribulations of trying to become one of the “good guys” while struggling to overcome the sociopathic, manipulative tendencies that previously served her so well.
