From last night’s quickie stream: a few Spitfires, and probably the best human Glimmy I’ve ever drawn. It was nice to get back into the swing of things. Thanks to everyone that stopped by! <3

It’s been a while since I logged into the MLPDS Discord. Not much has changed, but it’d been too long since I participated in a drawalong. Here’s the fruits of today’s labors, each in 30 minutes or less of course.
The topic for all was simply “pony” so I asked the BT peeps for specific horses, and just drew the first thing that came to mind. Looking them over now, seems the next area of improvement is definitely legs. Gotta get consistent!

ATG Day 30: Congratulations, cadets! Welcome to the Wonderbolt Reserves!

And with this, Equestria Daily’s Newbie Artist Training Grounds VI draws to a close. I’m glad I got to participate this year. The entire experience was fun; I got a ton of art done, became familiar with quite a few other fledgling artists like myself, and even encouraged a number of friends to participate, even if they could only do a few.
I set a personal goal to do every single prompt, excluding makeup days (burnout is real, gotta take a break now and then), and to never repeat characters. 30 unique prompts, 30+ unique ponies (and Spike). I’m happy I was able to stick with it, I count it as a personal victory towards my growth as an artist.
I’m hoping this entire affair granted me a bit more exposure. I noticed I picked up a fair number of new followers over the past month, so thanks to all of y’all. Glad you liked what you saw enough to click that follow button. :3 Here’s to another year of pony endeavors! (Tell your friends!)

A sassy Spitfire for y’all, requested by @kris-321.
For an authority figure in the MLP universe, Spitfire doesn’t always show the best decision making. After some of the things the Wonderbolts have done, it makes me wonder how they’re still held in such high regard. Still, they are “The Most Elite Fliers in all of Equestria™” so I suppose that means something. And it wouldn’t hurt to see what she alone is capable of, or how she rose through the ranks of the Wonderbolts. She’s a Captain or something, right? Let’s see her as a rookie. Season 6 should be the season of origins.
I do wish they’d kept the original VA though. I guess her voice wasn’t cartoony enough, didn’t fit in with the rest of the cast. Oh well, we’ll always have Swedish Spitfire.
