I’ve recently had the pleasure of making acquaintances with Talla, mod of @ask-ruby-streak. It’s oughta be illegal how cute that little miner mare is. But more importantly, some very kind and encouraging words were passed my way. I’ll try to hang in there.

Just wrapped up another awesome stream. Here’s all the doodles that came from it, including a much fabled pie-cake eating contest, and a pandapone, as well as an OC I whipped into shape (not mine!). Flurry Heart approved.

Commission for snake8head. It was fun helping him fine tune the design live, I’d like to stream more often. I might even implement OC design into my repertoire as another commission option, but we’ll see.

Watching the @ncmares and @tsitra360 stream inspired me to do another Greenie. Blep.
One thing I notice about my art is that it I go through weird spurts of “genius” from time to time. That’s not meant to sound conceited, just that there are times when I feel like I draw well above my usual quality of work. I’ll look back sometimes and say “Damn, did I do that?” It’s a bit jarring, because I’ll feel like most of my past art is junk. Except for that one piece where I feel like I outdid myself. Then I get depressed when I can’t duplicate it. I know the solution is more practice, more repetition, until that benchmark becomes the norm, but sometimes you’re just not feeling it, y’know? I wish I knew how to ration my willpower better.
Anyway, NC and Tsi are awesome to the maxx, yo. I don’t need to tell you to follow them; I suspect if you’re seeing this, you already do. But I’mma tell you to do it anyway, just in case.

Seriously, this girl is amazing, and she’s been an inspiration and semi-mentor to me since I first had a chance to talk to her. How she manages to crank out such high quality artwork so quickly blows my mind. I wish her nothing but the best.
