Seriously, what? Wow, what happened over the past few weeks? I’ve posted zero original content, and I’m suddenly getting an influx of new eyeballs. I thought I’d peaked back at 700, to be honest. Well I’m definitely not complaining, so thank you!
I’m pretty close to a major milestone now thanks to all of you, ¾ of the way to 1000! 750 is pretty big deal, so I guess I should celebrate somehow. I can’t help but feel a bit inspired.
Just wanted to take some time to thank everyone that’s helped me out this past month. And even before that! I’ve said it ad nauseum, but your support is what drives me to keep going.
I asked for help, and y’all came through for me. Y’all have my gratitude. I was legitimately worried where my next meal was coming from, but you put me to work, which was all I could ask for. Thanks to your commissions, I could actually go grocery shopping for the first time in a couple of months. I have chicken now! Sausage! Rice, potatoes, pasta, bread, milk; all thanks to y’all.
So seriously, thank you, all of you. I know a few reblogs and a handful of commissions doesn’t seem like much in the grand scheme of things, but it meant the world to me. I’m going to keep working hard to become the artist that you deserve.
Of course, my commission list is always open, so drop me a line if you’re interested! I’ll let the colored sketches rock for the time being, they’re fun to do.

Wow, it’s barely been 4 months since my first Tumblrversary and hitting 100 followers, and now I’m almost at 200! Hot damn, y’all never cease to amaze me. It’s almost as if y’all like my art or something! :D
This calls for something special. I think we should do one of those–crap, what are they called? There’s some Japanese word for it, but it escapes me at the moment. Anyway, a milestone celebration. 200 followers is pretty big achievement, so I want to do something equally momentous to thank y’all somehow. I have no idea what, so please feel free to leave an Ask with some suggestions.
(There’s always one anon that’s gonna say “butts,” so let me go ahead and ruin that for you right now. Nyope. Plenty of ponebutt artists out there already. Some even follow me for some reason, bless ‘em all.)

As difficult as things are right now, I’m still thankful for many things, not least all of y'all. Y'all are the reason I want to keep trying, to keep improving. I draw things that I hope others want to see, to fill in the holes, so to speak. It means the world to me that there are people out there that appreciate it.
So thank you. All of y'all that have ever liked, reblogged, or even looked at and said to yourself “Huh, that’s interesting/different” to anything I’ve drawn, thank you so much for making it worth it. Double thanks to all my followers, all 114 of you. It may be the quintessential American holiday, but Happy Thanksgiving to everyone.
I finally got a copy of Clip Studio Paint Pro. Two of my favorite artists @ncmares and @marble-pie were pretty big proponents, and it was on sale, so I couldn’t pass it up. (Thanks again for commissioning me, @shipping-is-magic. You’re awesome.) EQD’s Newbie Artist Training Grounds is almost over, after which I’d like to dive into learning all the ins and outs of the new software. I’ve got a lot of stuff to work on, and assuming I finally hear back from some potential employers, I want to do all I can before I lose the free time I currently have.
Also, thanks Calpain! I appreciate any exposure I get over in my little corner of the internet, and being on the front page of Equestria Daily is a huge honor, even if it doesn’t seem like much to some. The Discount Pony Emporium’s 1st birthday is coming up on 8/23 (the anniversary of my first post), and we’re SO CLOSE to 100 followers. How awesome would it be to hit the century mark by then? SO awesome, that’s how awesome. (I probably would have hit it sooner, but I’ve blocked a fair amount of porn bots. I try to keep it honest.) So spread the word, tell your friends, let’s make it happen!
